Welcome to another news digest, after the Easter break not too much has happened, but let us dive in.

PUNCH4NFDI:

The ErUM (Research on Universe and Matter) community is asked to participate in two surveys on ErUM-Data-Hub and DIG-UM, you can find more information here. This is the first time I have heard something about ErUM, but I have a longer train ride today, so perfect time to check out the ErUM-Data Plan of Action and ErUM-Data-Hub. In case you would like to know more, check their website here.

FAIRmat

First presented during the past Love Data Week 2024, FAIRmat published a presentation on copyright and licences with the goal of helping you, to navigate this complicated topic. I recommend checking it out. The final slide of the presentation can be very helpful if you want to reuse work from others.

Outro

That is already it for this week. Since this is a shorter news digest, I wanted to let you in on what is going on with The FAIR Elephant: The first bookings for talks and workshops are coming in, and currently I am preparing different presentations on electronic lab notebooks, all of them fitted to the needs of the interested parties. So if you are interested in a specific topic of RDM in natural science or need support with establishing FAIR research data management, make sure to check out my services (e.g. Rent-A-RDM-Expert) and/or contact me.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time!
