DAPHNE4NFDI

DAPHNE4NFDI is the consortium for DAta from PHoton and Neutron Experiments of the NFDI, the National Research Data Infrastructure in Germany.

Zenodo

A poster regarding workflows for serial femtosecond crystallography (SFX) at the European XFEL and slides to a presentation on DAPHNE4NFDI, their goals as well as some examples and use cases was added to Zenodo.

Open Data goes Europe!

NFDI4Chem is reporting on the event EOCSxNFDI and is highlighting the importance of international cooperation.  The EOSC is the European Open Science Cloud. Read the brief article here.

Stammtisch talk recording release

The recording of my talk at the NFDI4Chem Stammtisch, with the title “Play, Learn, Excel – Gamification in ELN Training with the Chemotion Files”, from March 2024, was uploaded to YouTube. NFDI4Earth

NFDI4Earth is the Consortium Earth System Sciences of the NFDI, the National Research Data Infrastructure in Germany.

Extending the F-UIJ tool for geospatial data

F-UIJ is a tool that supports with the assessment of FAIRness of data. During the Open Geospatial Consortium Metadata Code Sprint NFDI4Earth is planning to extend the tool to geospatial data and wants to share the results with the Earth System Science Community. Read more about the plans here.

As a result from one of the NFID4Earth pilot projects, a blueprint for making public authority data available was published. I recommend taking a look, it looks more complicated then I would have hoped.
