Welcome back to the latest News Digest! Did you miss me last week? Unfortunately, I had to skip last week's News Digest, but now I am back. And the News Digest is quite packed today since we have to cover two weeks, so don't let us waste too much time and let us dive right in!
New Zenodo uploads
A handful of new posters and one presentation were uploaded to the Zenodo community of DAPHNE4NFDI. If you are familiar with the methods used, you should definitely take a look right now.

Highlights from the 13th newsletter
Each quarter, MaRDI publishes a newsletter, you can check out the full newsletter by following the links below. In this News Digest, I just want to highlight two parts of the newsletter:
The main topic of the newsletter is the MaRDI Portal and to show how you could use this entry point to the MaRDI services, five personas are presented. It is shown how these personas can interact with the MaRDI Portal to get the information they need. Great why to show the diverse usage, make sure to check it out.
Then there is an interview with Tim Conrad (Zuse Institute Berlin), with a short demo of the MaRDI Portal but more specifically the MaRDI Knowledge Graph. The interview is just 10 min long and provides a nice introduction to the knowledge graph. There is so much information in the knowledge graph, use it to your advantage and check out the interview!
Meeting on ontologies and the latest newsletter
Members of NFDI4Chem were co-organizers of a larger discussion on ontologies, this time in the ELIXIR community at the "ELIXIR All Hands" meeting in. Check out the full report at the webpage of NFDI4Chem.
The latest newsletter from NFDI4Chem was also published, with an overview of the news during the past few weeks, as well as an outlook on future events and workshops. I will not highlight the specific topic of the newsletter since I covered all of it in past News Digests, but make sure to check it out if you need an overview or want to know more about future events and workshops.

News Zenodo uploads
Two new uploads to the Zenodo community: First a poster on the trainings of NFDI4Chem and the second on is a flyer by NFDI4Chem exploring core concepts and tools in RDM with tips and tricks on how to start with better RDM.

How to implement ELNs
The topic of electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) is part of many PSDI presentations, and lately a lot of the presentations and meetings are focussing increasingly on how to successfully establish an ELN. In past News Digests, I already linked to wonderful slides on Zenodo. This time an article about this topic was published on the webpage of PSDI. There are more insides on the topic (than just slides from a presentation) and uses the Chemistry Department of University of Southampton as one example. If you are in a similar situation, check out the article and learn from the PSDI.

New Zenodo uploads
There are some new uploads to Zenodo of presentations of PSDI Webinars and the "Unity, Symbols, and Terminology in the Physical Sciences Meeting" as well as the conference proceedings of the mention meeting. All are very worth checking out, my personal highlight (as mentioned in the last News Digest where the recording was published) are the slides to the "Greener Algorithms" presentation.

New Zenodo uploads
With compute4PUNCH a "federated compute infrastructure" is offered for researchers. Now the very interesting deliverable report was published on Zenodo given more insight on the set-up, structure and plans of compute4PUNCH.
