When starting with a new project, it is always good to have a plan of what you want to do. This is also true for the data you are working with. In this case, we call it a data management plan (DMP). DMPs are getting more and more common for each project, this is also due to the fact, that many research funders request a DMP or something similar to a DMP with your proposals. The Love Data Week is the perfect opportunity to learn more about these plans, to be prepared for your next proposals. But a DMP is not only another document you have to add to your proposal, if used correctly, it can help you to always stay on top of your data and fasten your working processes. No matter whether you are a beginner or advanced in the topic of research data management, I am sure that in all the DMP events of the Love Data Week you can learn something new. I again checked the event list at forschungsdaten.info, and collected for you the fitting workshops, talks and seminars. Please be aware that there are more events added to the list daily, should I have missed one, feel free to add in the comments.
