News Digest – RDM in Natural Science: Week 24

NFDI4Chem – Repositories in Profile – nmrXiv

NFDI4Chem started a new report series with the title “Repositories in Profile” where they give brief overviews of different repositories. This week they presented the first one: nmrXiv. A repository for NMR data, you find their article here. If they publish more of these overviews and maybe collect them in one place, then it is a great addition to their already published collection of repositories at FAIRsharing and the guide to choosing the right repository in their knowledge base. If you are interested in the topic, you can also check out their article from March here.

FAIRmat – Tutorial videos for tutorial 13

The videos to the 13th tutorial of FAIRmat were published on YouTube. The focus in this tutorial was on working with experimental data in NOMAD and NOMAD Oasis. How to use the ELN functionalities and how to optimise the structure to fit to your data. If you are thinking about using NOMAD Oasis for the documentation of your experimental data, you should definitely check out this tutorial to learn about the possibilities. I already have a test project in mind where I will try this.

NFDI4Earth – Deadline extended

The deadline for the 3rd Pilot Projects of NFDI4Earth was extended to June 23. Check their article for more information about the call.

Outro

I want to use this news digest today to thank you for 100 followers on LinkedIn! Thank you for showing interest in the things I provide with The FAIR Elephant. I also have bad news: there will be no news digest next week because I am at a music festival (Full Force, somebody there?^^). But no worries, we will not miss anything, the news digest for week 26 will cover everything from week 25 and 26. With this, I want to thank you again for following and reading the news digests. See you in two weeks!
