Conference
On Monday, the 15th International Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation started. During the event, over 1,000 domain experts discuss the latest developments in “major X-ray radiation sources”. FAIRmat is the FAIR Data Infrastructure for Condensed-Matter Physics and the Chemical Physics of Solids, a consortium of the NFDI, the National Research Data Infrastructure in Germany.
Workshop report
FAIRmat is reporting about their latest workshop on “Data Exchange and Storage”, which took place last week. One focus of the workshop was the NeXus standard and how to use it with Python. Read more about it in their news overview (here).

During the next two weeks, I will be on holiday and therefore there will be no News Digests for the weeks 37 and 38, but no worries I will be back in week 39.
