NFDI4Cat

NFDI4Cat is the consortium for sciences related to catalysis of the NFDI, the National Research Data Infrastructure in Germany.

This is not specific to NFDI4Cat, but I found it there first. There is a new working group in the NFDI focusing on building a network of the different RDM helpdesks in Germany, to better connect the expertises of the different helpdesk. You can read the working group charter on Zenodo.

The FAIR Elephant

Two weeks ago, I wrote about the topic of RDM strategies and how you could think of them as a rope (read here in case you missed it). Where I describe that you can embark on the journey to better research data management step-by-step. You can start small, with improving just one aspect of your data documentation, or start with one method where you want to improve your data handling. You can grow from there later on. The important part is to start, and to start right now! I know that starting is hard because the field of RDM is overwhelming. This is what The FAIR Elephant is all about, to help you get started with improving your research data management.
