News Digest – RDM in Natural Science: Week 23
Today we have a short one, so let us start.
FAIRmat – Workshop Report
At the end of May FAIRmat had a workshop on data exchange and storage in optical spectroscopy, points of discussion were the infrastructure NOMAD as well as the NeXus format. You can read the report here, there you can also find some of the workshop materials about the NeXus format.
NFDI4Earth – Event Report
NFDI4Earth published a short report on their latest Plenary, highlighting different talks and uses cases. You can read the full report here.
Outro – Rework of The Chemotion Files
In the past, I have published two cases of The Chemotion Files, a gamified way of getting to know the electronic lab notebook Chemotion ELN. To make it more interactive and easier to use, I reworked the way they are presented. I moved them to a software called Genially (best used with Chrome), there you have everything in one place, check it out right now: https://view.genially.com/6661656a1512b9001571f527. In case you want to know more about this, you can read the blog entry from January here.
That’s it for today, thank you for reading, see you next week!
